Viddi Digital Signage Smart Templates are built so you don’t need to be a designer to create stand out digital signage for within your store.

It’s easy to create your own content with Viddi’s inbuilt Smart Template function.
From the home page of your Viddi Dashboard, choose a ‘Location’ where you’d like your media to be seen and make sure that you have the Playlist tab open. In this example, let’s create a Smart Template for our ‘Front Counter’ location. Click on the plus button and in the drop down menu, select Smart Template, this will open the Smart Template builder.

On the right hand side you can see the available layouts, such as simple sign sale menu and more. Let’s choose one and have a play around. On the left hand side, you’ll see a preview of the template and on the right it’s preferences. Let’s take a closer look at the right hand side – we see several input settings with headings such as ‘Caption’, ‘Header’, ‘Price’ and so on. These fields contain editable texts which can be changed from placeholders to the text you need. We can do this live and see the changes taking place in the preview to the left.
Changing the image is as simple as selecting a new one from wherever you have it stored. There are two tabs at the top of the page called content and design. Now that we’ve edited the content we can start changing the design. Here you can change the background and either make it Dynamic, Static or choose one you’ve saved in your company colours and design.

Once you’re happy with the design, simply click ‘Save’ and your template is immediately added to your Playlist. It’s easy to move into the order you’d like and is now ready to use, it’s as simple as that.
