WHAT TYPE OF FILES CAN YOU UPLOAD TO VIDDI DIGITAL SIGNAGE? What type files can you upload to Viddi Digital Signage?
Viddi is a digital signage system that is designed to run and upload multiple types of files from Images to Video to Documents, Presentations and Spreadsheets. Along with multiple external connector sources (Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, weather, RSS to name a few) Viddi provides a full service digital signage system.
From within your Viddi Dashboard, simply click on the large pink + sign to begin the content upload process.
Viddi platform supports the following file types and categories:
Content Type: Video
Supported Formats: MP4, M4V, MOV, AVI
Format Details: Video files playback at 720p, 1080p, 4K including streaming
What video formats does Viddi support?
Viddi supports the following video formats: MPEG (ES,PS,TS,PVA,MP3), AVI, ASF / WMV / WMA, MP4 / MOV / 3GP, OGG / OGM / Annodex, Matroska (MKV), Real, WAV (including DTS) / YouTube streams and YouTube videos.
For best playback quality we recommend using the ratio matching your screen. For example, if your TV’s ratio is 16:9, it’s better to use 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K), 1920 x 1080 px (2K), 1600 x 900 px or 1280 x 720 px resolutions in your video so that it doesn’t get cropped or scaled.
Select the Cloud button within the video pop up to select your video(s) from your computer desktop, and upload.
Once uploaded, select the video and click ‘Add’ to add to your Viddi playlist.
Content Type: Image
Supported Formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, HEIC,
Format Details: Images, including image series for slideshows
What image size should I use to perfectly fit my screen? The recommended approach is to use the same resolution of your content that matches your device’s screen. If your TV’s ratio is 16:9, it’s better to keep the same for your content. For example, you can go for 1920 x 1080 px, 1600 x 900 px, 1280 x 720 px, etc.

Format Details: Uploaded documents will be split on sheets and shown page by page
Upload: Documents can either be uploaded from Google Drive or your Desktop
Content Type: Presentation
Supported Formats: KEY, PPT, PPTX
Format Details: Uploaded presentations will be split on slides and shown one by one
Upload: Documents can either be uploaded from Google Drive or your Desktop
Content Type: Spreadsheets
Supported Formats: XLS, XLSX, NUMBERS
Format Details: Uploaded spreadsheets will be split on sheets and shown page by page
Upload: Documents can either be uploaded from Google Drive or your Desktop
Optionally Viddi allows you to create your own images and animations with built in Smart Template and Custom Template builders.
